3D Printer Resin Price Comparison

Free resin price comparison across top brands. Filter by type — Standard, ABS-Like, Water-Washable, Flexible — and find the best price per liter.

Resin Types at a Glance

SLA and LCD 3D printer resin comes in several formulations, each optimized for different applications. Here's what to know about each type before you buy.

Resin Buying Tips

Compare by price per liter. Resin is sold in 500 mL, 1 L, and 2 L bottles. A 500 mL bottle at $18 works out to $36/L — often more expensive than buying 1 L. We normalize all prices to $/L so the true cost is clear.

Standard resin covers most use cases. For miniatures, models, and display pieces, standard resin from Elegoo or Anycubic at $20-35/L delivers excellent detail at the lowest cost. Only upgrade to specialty resins when you have a specific need.

Factor in post-processing costs. Budget for IPA or a wash-and-cure station, nitrile gloves, and a UV light. Water-washable resin eliminates IPA costs but typically costs $5-10/L more upfront.

Resin FAQ

What is the best resin for miniatures?
Standard resin from Elegoo or Anycubic ($20-35/L) is the top choice for miniatures — it captures fine detail and cures quickly. For added durability on gaming pieces, consider ABS-Like resin at a small premium.
Is water-washable resin worth it?
If you print frequently and want to skip IPA cleanup, yes. Water-washable resin costs about $5-10/L more than standard but saves money on alcohol over time. The trade-off is slightly increased brittleness.
How long does a bottle of resin last?
A 1 L bottle typically yields 50-80 miniatures or 10-15 medium figurines, depending on model size and hollowing. Larger prints like busts or terrain pieces use significantly more resin per piece.
